For 24 months you will spend time in various departments within the organization. Spaced throughout the program will be formal training events to take your knowledge to the next level. We will focus on hard skills, such as machining principles and techniques, and we will focus on soft skills as well, such as leadership development and personality awareness. All training is paid for by Protomet, and time you spend on training is paid as working hours.

Expand your range. So much can be gained by simply increasing our exposure to different ways of thinking, different operational approaches, and new technologies. As a technical apprentice you’ll gain exposure to world-class operations in CNC machining, fabrication and metal forming, powder coating, anodizing, maintenance, and assembly. Inter-departmental knowledge is critical for leadership advancement within the company.
